FNH USA UNVEILS INNOVATIVE NEW PRODUCTS FOR 2007.
FNH USA is proud to introduce a variety of exciting new products for 2007, and many will have their
first public showing at the SHOT Show, set for January 11-14, 2007, in Orlando, Florida.
FN FNP-45 Autoloading Pistol
For many there is only one pistol caliber worthy of serious consideration, and that’s the 45 ACP. Over
nearly a century this legendary chambering has provided rugged reliability and exceptional accuracy
with proven big-bore stopping power. The new FN FNP-45 utilizes traditional double-action/singleaction
(DA/SA) operation and offers operators all the features they’ve come to rely on from FN, like a
high-capacity, ergonomic polymer frame with interchangeable backstrap inserts, accessory rail,
ambidextrous frame-mounted decocking levers and magazine release.
The matte black stainless steel slide carries the Melonite® process for added durability, and the FNP-45
is also available in a matte silver stainless slide model. The FNP-45 uses a precision hammer-forged
barrel for enhanced accuracy and long service life and offers a loaded chamber indicator on the external
extractor. A variety of fixed standard and night sights are available. All FNP-45s come complete with
three 10- or 14-round magazines and a lockable hard case.
FN Five-seveN USG Pistol’s New Fixed Sights by C-More Systems™
FN has teamed with C-More Systems to introduce a new line of low-profile, non-snag 3-dot fixed
combat sights for the FN Five-seveN 5.7x28mm autoloading pistol, and are offered with or without
self-luminous tritium elements. The new sights are currently available as an accessory, and plans are
underway to include them as standard equipment on select models of the Five-seveN USG pistol later
this year.
FN PS90 TR Triple Rail Semi-automatic Carbine
Discover new shooting sports opportunities with the new FN PS90 TR. Based on the P90 and built
around FN’s revolutionary 5.7x28mm ammunition, the PS90 TR provides a compact, lightweight and
completely ambidextrous firearm capable of fulfilling numerous security, personal defense, competition
and recreational shooting roles. The 10- or 30-round box magazine runs horizontally along the top of
the PS90 TR. Fired cases are ejected downward where they cannot interfere with the user. The extended
16.04" barrel and closed bolt operation give the PS90 outstanding accuracy while the integral muzzle
brake helps reduce recoil. With three M1913 rails standard, the PS90 TR is readily adaptable to any
operational requirements by mounting a full package of user-supplied accessories including electronic
or optical sights, tactical illumination tools and laser target designators. The PS90 TR is available with
either a black or olive drab polymer stock.
FN SLP MK I Autoloading Shotgun
The gas operated FN SLP Mark I autoloading shotgun features an aluminum alloy 12 gauge 3"
magnum receiver, eight-shot magazine tube and 22" barrel with the Standard Invector™ choke tube
system (Cylinder and Improved Cylinder tubes are included) for optimum performance with any
payload. At the heart of the FN SLP series is the Active Valve system, the innovative gas-management
mechanism that adjusts automatically to utilize the exact amount of gas needed to reliably operate the
action. Two interchangeable gas pistons are included, allowing the operator to fine-tune the SLP MK I
for a wider range of functional reliability. Metalwork is protected by matte black manganese phosphate
or anodizing for enhanced durability and low reflectivity. The checkered, matte black synthetic stock is
equipped with a premium recoil pad and steel sling swivel studs. An adjustable folding rear sight, red
fiber-optic front sight element and Weaver-pattern cantilever optics rail are all standard. The SLP MK I
even comes with a lockable polymer hard case.
